ABOUT OUR CLUB
The Blacksburg Athletic Club (BAC), a 501(c)3 entity, is a booster organization that supports the Blacksburg High School Athletic Department (including all sports and other specific needs) by fundraising and promoting school spirit. Funds may be raised for facility improvements, spirit opportunities, and more per requests from the school administration or club members.

MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS
Barbara has been serving as our elected Board President since June, 2024. She is mom to 2 high schoolers and VT sophomore. Barbara can usually be found walking her 2 rescue dogs, at the barn or a sporting event.

Erika has been serving as our elected VP since June 2024. She serves as a MCPS substitute teacher, landscaper and crafter. Erika resides in Blacksburg with her husband and three children.

Rachel Hogan
Fundraising Chair
Rachel has assisted with the March Madness Social since March 2024. She loves sports, especially watching her sons swim, hoop, and play soccer. Her family has been an active part of the Blacksburg community since 2013.

Merchandise Chair
Brian has been serving as our Merchandise Chair since May, 2025. He is a graphic designer, artist, illustrator, and printmaker who runs a freelance design studio, and lives in Blacksburg with his wife, two high schoolers, cats, and backyard chickens.
Nikki Sellers
BHS Athletic Director
We are excited to have our new Athletic Director, Nikki, represent BHS at our monthly board meetings. She has been essential to our 2024-2025 success. She is a Bobcat turned Bruin and is expecting her baby Bruin in June, 2025.
Chris Stewart
BHS Principal
Mr. Stewart returned to BHS in October of 2023 to become the Principal after serving as the AP and AD from 2012-2017. He believes that athletics are a big key to developing school spirit and sports can open doors for students to continue their educational journey.
